I had mixed feelings about my stay at the resort. While the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property stood out, some aspects felt neglected, particularly in the dining experience and service efficiency. The family suite was spacious and surprised me with its layout, but I was disappointed with the lack of cleaning service during my short stay. Overall, it offers decent value, but some areas need improvement.

Rooms
8.0
The family suite was spacious and pleasantly laid out, featuring a separate bedroom and two baths, which was great for sharing. However, I did find some maintenance issues, like stained carpets in the hall.
Service
5.0
The service left a lot to be desired. There seemed to be a staffing issue in the dining areas, causing long waits, and I encountered some attitude from the staff during my stay.
Location
7.0
The resort is conveniently located near major highways, providing easy access to surrounding areas, including Canmore and Banff, but it's a bit secluded, so having a car is necessary.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience fell short, especially during busy times. The breakfast options were limited and repetitive, which was disappointing for a longer stay.
Facilities
6.0
While the pool area was clean and enjoyable, it could use better attention, particularly with the lack of towels and maintenance for parts of the area, such as the slide.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the room was comfortable and clean with a spectacular mountain view, the service left much to be desired, especially at the casino. The facilities were basic, and I found the dining options lacking variety and quality. Overall, while the room was satisfactory, the experience was overshadowed by service issues and high prices.

Rooms
8.0
The room was comfortable and spotless, featuring a breathtaking mountain view which was magical to wake up to. It even included a large shower stall and tub.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the service was not very friendly, especially when our room cards didn't work more than once. This attitude really dampened our experience.
Location
7.0
The hotel is a bit out of the way, requiring a car to access nearby towns, but it's conveniently situated near the Trans Canada Highway.
Dining
5.0
The dining options left a lot to be desired; the food was just average, and the breakfast wasn't impressive at all.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were very basic, failing to impress considering the price point we paid.

We had a wonderful stay at Stoney Nakoda Resort. The breathtaking mountain view from our room made our mornings magical. The staff was incredibly helpful and made our family Christmas get-together special. However, there were some issues with the dining service and a concerning incident with the bartender that left us a bit dissatisfied. Overall, I'd recommend it for the great views and friendly service but be cautious in the casino area.

Rooms

Our room was spacious, clean, and offered an amazing mountain view that really enhanced our experience.

The resort is beautifully located in the mountains, providing an excellent escape and close enough to explore nearby attractions.
Dining

While some dining options were limited, the service was satisfactory overall, although we did encounter an issue with the bartender that soured the experience.
Facilities

The facilities were well-maintained, and the large soaker tub in the room was a highlight of our stay.

The hotel offers spacious rooms with beautiful mountain views and is conveniently located for exploring the nearby attractions. While the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the dining options leave a bit to be desired, especially the breakfast variety. Overall, it's a solid choice for those looking for value but could improve in some areas.

Rooms
7.0
The mountain view room was spacious and well laid out, with a comfortable king size bed and a nice lounge area. However, it felt a bit dated, and the bedding was heavier than I preferred.
Service
6.0
The service was decent, but it took some time to get certain items, like utensils during dining, which could have been better coordinated.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in a fantastic spot, making it easy to access the stunning Kananaskis area and the Rocky Mountains.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was average, especially the buffet, which lacked variety and standout options that one might expect at a resort.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities included a nice pool and access to a bar, but the overall dining options and food quality need improvement.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel during my recent stay. The lobby and room were spacious and offered stunning views of the mountains, but there were some cleanliness issues that detracted from the overall experience. While the breakfast and amenities were decent, noise disturbances and poor service left me feeling disappointed.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and had a breathtaking view of the mountains. However, I noticed some cleanliness issues, such as dirty windows and stains on the carpet.
Service
5.0
While the front desk staff was friendly, the overall service was lacking, especially when addressing my concerns during checkout. It felt dismissive.
Location
8.0
The location is beautiful, right at the entrance to the Rockies, making it great for nature lovers. It's convenient for access to nearby towns, but can feel isolated if you're not interested in the casino.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast offered a decent variety for a hotel buffet, but nothing particularly special or unique. It was more of what you'd expect from a complimentary offering.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel has some great facilities, like a nice pool area, but the noise issues from construction and other guests were disappointing.
